Dynamic Sound Associates Presents: “Mono a Mono”: Mono Lps and a Mono cartridge

Friday, February 8th and Saturday, February 9th: 3pm to 4:30pm

Location: Room 513

Dynamic Sounds Associates, in association with Analogue Productions, invites you to an audiophile experience like no other: the power, beauty, focus, textures, and dynamics produced only when monophonic Lps are played by a monophonic pickup cartridge.

Included in this demonstration are audiophile reissues by artists such as Ben Webster, the Beach Boys, Stan Getz, Jimi Hendrix, Duke Ellington, Bob Dylan, Sonny Rollins, Nat King Cole and the Beatles; and composers including Stravinsky, Sibelius and Beethoven.

The analog front end will begin with the Ortofon Cadenza Mono cartridge mounted on a VPI 12.5” Fat Boy tonearm on a VPI Avenger Reference turntable with Luminous Audio Silver Reference interconnects feeding into a Dynamic Sounds Associates Phono II.

All are invited, but space will be limited!
